Abstract Resonant optical antennas (ROAs) are nanodevices that can enhance the electromagnetic field in their vicinity and scatter light far field. The enhanced is localized subdiffraction-limited volume. Their ability to exhibit strong enhancement gap makes them suitable for coupling with quantum emitters.
