چکیده

Abstract The astonishingly distinct lubricity difference between the ionic liquid modified carbon nanoparticles grafted by anion and cation moieties (A-g-CNPs C-g-CNPs) was well established as additives of polyethylene glycol (PEG200). peripheral positively charged inner parts C-g-CNPs could successively absorb onto friction interfaces electrostatic interactions to form organic—inorganic electric double layer structures, tremendously boosting PEG200. Contrarily, preferentially adsorption negatively but repulsion determined weak embedded stability A-g-CNPs interfaces, even impairing This work can offer solidly experimental theoretical guidance for designing developing high-performance nanoadditives molecules.
