چکیده
Aim. To reveal the associations of IgA antibodies to benzo[a]pyrene, estradiol and progesterone (IgA-Bp, IgA-Es, IgA-Pg) with conversion estrogen-receptor positive (ER+) into negative (ER-) tumors during breast cancer progression. Materials Methods. Having collected serum samples from 338 healthy volunteers 1407 patients, we have profiled them for IgA-Bp, IgA-Pg by means enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Conjugates bovine albumin Bp, Es Pg were used as adsorbed antigens anti-human horseradish peroxidase-conjugated detection specific antigen-bound antibodies. Individual IgA-Bp/IgA-Pg IgA-Es/IgA-Pg ratios calculated. Estrogen receptor phenotype was determined using immunohistochemistry. Results. Low (≤ 1) in combination low indicative protective immunophenotype more frequently revealed women (43.8%) comparison stage 1 patients ER+ (12.9%) ER- (23.9%) tumors. High (>1) high suggestive pro-carcinogenic immunological less often detected (27.5%) compared (65.5%) (58.7%) Prevalence phenotypes significantly differed 1breast tumor (p = 0.017). prevalent at II-IV stages (25.6%) than (16.3%). Conversion reflecting progression characteristic (p<0.0001). Conclusion. Detection against may be applied a risk marker development

Relation between Estrogen and Progesterone Receptor Status with p53, Ki67 and Her-2 Markers in Patients with Breast Cancer
Background: Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, containing approximately one third of all illnesses in women. Assessment of molecular markers is valuable in predicting the outcome of disease and decision making for optimal treatment. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between estrogen and progesterone receptors with Her-2, Ki67, P53, and clinicopathologica...

Background: Breast cancer is one of the most common women’s cancers, and the number of cases is increasing worldwide. Objective: The current study compared invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) and invasive ductal carcinoma with regard to the prevalence of estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), and age prevalence. Methods: T...

15 صفحه اولCorrelation of Estrogen and Progesterone Receptor expression in Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor among women. It accounts for 22% of all female cancers; more than twice the prevalence of cancer in women at any other site. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) is now the globally accepted methodology for detection of estrogen (ER) and progesterone (PR) receptors in breast carcinomas. The present study is designed for further insight into age and biology...
متن کاملEstrogen Control of Progesterone Receptor in Human Breast Cancer CORRELATION WITH NUCLEAR PROCESSING OF ESTROGEN RECEPTOR”
Some human breast cancers which contain estrogen receptors (ER) also contain progesterone receptors (PgR), whose presence may indicate that the ER remain responsive to estrogen and can still control specific protein synthesis. To demonstrate a direct role for ER we have used the human breast cancer cell line, MCF-7, which contains ER and low PgR levels. We have studied the effects of addition a...
