چکیده
Exposure to indoor air pollution (IAP) from cooking with solid fuels affects 2.8 billion people in developing countries, including children and pregnant women. It also increases the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes such as low birthweight. This review aims examine relationship IAP birthweight.A systematic literature search was performed using PubMed, CINAHL, global health Google Scholar electronic databases. A random-effects model used estimate pooled odds ratio. presence publication bias checked funnel plot Egger’s total 129 were reviewed, 6 fulfilled inclusion criteria. 16,761 mother–child pairs selected study population. The result meta-analysis indicated that biomass fuel use associated birthweight a ratio 1.74 (95% CI: 1.14–2.66). Mothers living households utilize have 74% additional giving child than mothers who live without fuel.Indoor sub-Saharan Africa. متن کاملCOPD and chronic bronchitis risk of indoor air pollution from solid fuel: a systematic review and meta-analysis.
BACKGROUND Over half the world is exposed daily to the smoke from combustion of solid fuels. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is one of the main contributors to the global burden of disease and can be caused by biomass smoke exposure. However, studies of biomass exposure and COPD show a wide range of effect sizes. The aim of this systematic review was to quantify the impact of bioma...
