Association between self-reported empathy and level of physical activity in healthy young adults

Empathy, which consists of cognitive and affective empathy, is one the vital skills in humans for creating maintaining relationships with others, now, there are many empathy-deficient people, possibly deriving from an increase harassment-related issues. Although a possibility that physical activity improves association empathy healthy remains unclear. Thus, present study aims to clarify relationship between levels self-reported empathy. Eight hundred ninety-three responses two questionnaires, short version International Physical Activity Questionnaire (SV-IPAQ) Cognitive Affective Empathy (QCAE), were analyzed. Levels usual week measured based on SV-IPAQ, participants divided into three groups: low, moderate high activity. The scores QCAE. We found people or level show significantly higher compared low level. score wasn’t affected by showed significant positive correlation scores, but not scores. Our findings imply contributes better young adults.
