Assessment of Treated Wastewater Reuse in Drip Irrigation under Different Pressure Conditions

چکیده
This study aims to investigate the influence of treated wastewater (TWW) on hydraulic performance drip irrigation emitters. A field experiment was conducted in order test two types online emitters, a low pressure (LP) and standard (SP), at different working pressures (0.25 bar, 0.50 1.00 bar) using TWW. The emitters were initially evaluated laboratory for discharge exponent (X), coefficient (Kd), average emitter (Qavg), variation (CV), distribution uniformity (DU), mean ratio (Dra), main degree clogging (DC). effect parameters not significant, while operational time had significant effect. For LP emitter, 7.6, 7.7, 7.8 Lh−1 0.25, 0.50, respectively. SP 7.8, EU values varied from moderate 0.25 as bar considered high both types.

Agriculture is the main user of water in Italy, as in most regions of the world. Particularly in Mediterranean regions, where it is more difficult to meet the agricultural water demand with conventional resources, wastewater reuse represents a viable option. Drip irrigation is particularly suitable for wastewater reuse because it minimises the health risks to farmers and product consumers due t...
متن کاملReuse of Refinery Treated Wastewater in Cooling Towers
In this report, experimental investigation of waste water treatment by reverse osmosis to enable its reuse in cooling tower is presented. A polyamide spiral wound RO membrane followed by three filters as RO pretreatment (two activated carbon and one cartridge filter) and samples of Tehran refinery treated waste water have been used. The effect of operating conditions such as pressure differ...

shortage of fresh water resources is a major worldly concern. accessibility of water forirrigation purposes is also one of the most important concerns in arid and semiaridregions. this is why treated domestic wastewater is thought of as an important watersource. even following treatment, wastewater may contain a great many kinds ofmicroorganisms hazardous to humans and environment. therefore th...

Global water shortage is placing an unprecedented pressure on water supplies. Treated wastewater is a valuable water resource, but its reuse for agricultural irrigation faces a roadblock: the public concern over the potential accumulation of contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) into human diet. In the present study, we measured the levels of 19 commonly occurring pharmaceutical and personal ...
