Assessment of Soil Texture on Triticum aestivum Growth

چکیده
Soil texture is an important environmental factor that influences the crop productivity of wheat (Triticum aestivum) because it provides all nutrients required for growth plants. The soil based on classified into four classes: silt, clay, sand, and loam. mineral particles was by United States Department Agriculture (USDA). According to USDA, loam have a size between sand (2.00–1.0 mm) silt (0.05–0.002 mm), whereas clay less than 0.002 mm. Analysis shows rate Triticum aestivum in each sample different. sizes seven plants were increased loamy soil, 47 cm, sandy 25 cm long. Seven grown had lengths 28 cm. Finally, five reached 38 After fertilizing plant different soils equally, observed be greater as compared other samples. Clay showed improvements although not good worst growing soil. This better most beneficial productivity.

Transfer of Soft Kernel Texture from Triticum aestivum to Durum Wheat, Triticum turgidum ssp. durum
Durum wheat (Triticum turgidum ssp. durum) is a leading cereal grain whose primary use is the production of semolina and pasta. Its rich culinary relationship to humans is related, in part, to its very hard kernel texture. This very hard texture is due to the loss of the Puroindoline genes that were eliminated during the allopolyploid formation of T. turgidum approximately 0.5 million years ago...
متن کاملGrowth, photosynthetic activity and oxidative stress in wheat (Triticum aestivum) after exposure of lead to soil.
The present study was conducted to assess quantitative information about lead (Pb) contamination in soil on the growth and physiology of wheat. Solutions with three different concentrations of Pb as [Pb(NO3)2 at 500, 1000 and 2500 microM] were incorporated into the soil to achieve Pb-stressed conditions in comparison to unstressed, water treated, control variant. Wheat growth measured in terms ...
متن کاملIdentification of Alleles of Puroindoline Genes and Their Effect on Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Grain Texture.
Grain hardness is one of the most important quality characteristics of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). It is a significant property of wheat grains and relates to milling quality and end product quality. Grain hardness is caused by the presence of puroindoline genes (Pina and Pinb). A collection of 25 genotypes of wheat with unusual grain colour (blue aleurone, purple and white pericarp, yellow e...

A field experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of soil application of zinc fertilizer on yield and yield components of wheat (Triticum aestivum L. cv. Pak-81) grown on calcareous soil in Pakistan. The levels of zinc sulphate were 0 (control), 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 kg ha and the zinc sulphate was combine-drilled at the time of sowing. Zinc sulphate increased the Leaf Area Index, t...
متن کاملEffect of Iron on the Growth and Yield Contributing Parameters of Wheat (triticum Aestivum L.)
Field experiments were conducted at Government Adaptive Research Farm Karor Lal Eason, districtLayyah, to study the impact of trace elements on uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and yield of wheat. The experiments were laid out in RCBD having three replications. Soil samples were collected before sowing of crop from 0-15 cm depth and analyzed for physical and chemical properties (textur...
