چکیده
Predicting attainable yield under water limiting condition is an important goal in rainfed agriculture. Proper irrigation planning not only essential for saving but also enhancement and it possible when accurate reliable decision-making tool has been adopted. AquaCrop one of the models extensively used purposes. To evaluate performance model, present experiment entitled on “Assessment model irrigated cotton deficit semi-arid tropics Maharashtra’’ was carried out at Department Irrigation Drainage Engineering, CAET, Parbhani. The conducted such a way that calibrated year 2009-2010 validated 2010-2011. Part obtained field data i.e. full treatment (100% ETc) calibration while 2010-2011 to validate model. version 6.1 study. There close match between observed simulated canopy cover. It supported by high value R2NS (0.97). Another statistical parameter CRM having -0.045, indicates overestimates Nash Sutcliffe coefficient (R2NS) as 0.81 shows yield. (Coefficient Residual Mass) low -0.060, indicating overestimated Considering overall acceptability validation results, concluded performs well with relatively validity.

Assessment of the AquaCrop Model for simulating Canola under different irrigation managements in a semiarid area
Field experiments were conducted in 2005-2006 and 2007-2008 and the data were used tocalibrate and validate yield and biomass of AquaCrop Model for canola (Brassica napus l.). Themodel was calibrated with the first year and then was validated with the second year data. Fivewater stress treatments at different growth stages were performed including fully irrigatedduring whole growing period (I1)...
متن کاملOptimal deficit irrigation using AquaCrop model: a methodology study
Both developing and developed countries have problems with availability of water to increase agricultural productivity. The importance of improving water efficiency in agriculture has been the subject in many research papers. The usual approach to limit water consumption in agriculture at the district and farm level is to apply water quotas. These quotas may be either for the whole season or fo...
متن کاملDrip fertigation effects on yield, nutrient uptake and soil fertility of Bt Cotton in semi arid tropics
Field experiment was conducted for 2 seasons to study the influence of drip fertigation in combination with or without bio fertilizers on yield, plant uptake and soil fertility of Bt cotton. The treatments comprised of four levels of drip fertigation viz., 75, 100, 125 and 150 per cent of recommended dose of fertilizers (RDF, NPK) combined with and without bio fertilizers, drip irrigation w...
متن کاملAssessment of AquaCrop, WOFOST and CropSyst models for Estimating Sugar Beet Yield under Water Deficit Conditions
Sugar beet is one of the most important agricultural crops and its yield depends on irrigation water. Due to the impossibility of assessing the effect of all water amount strategies on sugar beet yield, it is necessary to use crop models such as WOFOST, AquaCrop and Cropsyst. In order to achieve this goal, a set of data collected from Shahrekord’s Agricultural Research Station were used. Treatm...
