Assessment and Spatial Distribution Mapping of Criteria Pollutants

Abstract This study aims to assess the urban air quality, and map NO 2 , SO PM 10 profiles using two widely spatial interpolation methods, ordinary kriging (OK) inverse distance weighting (IDW) by estimating their concentrations at distinct non-monitored locations. Assessment mapping of pollutants in this help with policy formulation decision-making. Kota, industrial educational hub Rajasthan (India), has been selected quality. Results showed that is continuously emerging as a foremost contributor quality index (AQI) each season. The all seasons were well below permissible level prescribed Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Interpolation techniques (OK IDW) estimated three sites data from year 2019. interpolated pollutant results for specified region compared monitored same region. An excellent agreement observed comparing values, values predicted IDW OK.
