چکیده
Software-defined networking (SDN) provides programmable control and centralized management in data centers, making it a popular architecture. The large scale of networks has required to propose the geographical distribution logically plane achieve scalability reliability. For solving load imbalance among multiple controllers associated with statically configured plane, switch migration mechanism is proposed admit dynamic balancing. Many studies have been carried out for balancing problem based on mechanism. However, previous focus migrating switches when are overloaded, thereby, wasting time phase resulting high latency. To address these problems, we Assessing Profit Of Prediction (APOP) scheme, load-balancing strategy multiple-controllers overloaded state prediction profit assessment. Scalable Programming for SDN Controllers
Introduction. A major recent development in computer networking is the notion of Software-Defined Networking (SDN), which allows a network to customize its behaviors through centralized policies at a conceptually centralized network controller. In particular, Openflow [4] has made significant progress by establishing (1) flow tables as a standard data-plane abstraction for distributed switches,...
متن کاملType systems for SDN Controllers
Software-defined networking (SDN) offers unprecedented control over network operation, allowing network operators programmatic control over switches’ forwarding behavior. In the compass-rose metaphor for networks, an SDN controller sends commands that modify switches’ forwarding tables (so-called flowmods), queues, counters, etc., by means of the southbound API. Several different southbound API...
متن کاملuLoBal: Enabling In-Network Load Balancing for Arbitrary Internet Services on SDN
Today’s networks should support the increasing demand required by large workloads generated by users who consume several types of service over the Internet. However, the users demand increases at a much higher rate than the networks can evolve due to a number of constraints, including economic reasons. Thus, it is a common practice to adopt load balancing in order to use network resources more ...
متن کاملPrediction and Load Balancing System for Distributed Storage
National Data Storage is a distributed data storage system intended to provide high quality backup, archiving and data access services. These services guarantee high level of data protection as well as high performance of data storing and retrieval by using replication techniques. Monitoring and data access prediction are necessary for successful deployment of replication. Common Mass Storage S...
متن کاملCost Prediction for Load Balancing: Application to Algebraic Computations
A major feature of Computer Algebra, and more generally of non-numerical computations, is the dynamical and non-predictable behaviour of the executions. We then understand that statical analysis should imperatively be completed by dynamical analysis in order to reach the best distribution of the tasks among the processors. In this paper, we present a new load-balancing system for parallel archi...
