چکیده
Objective: Measuring of serum taurine as an early marker to detect and prevent complications Diabetic nephropathy. Method: Ninty diabetic patients (male female) were chosen from Ahmed Maher hospital after their approval, eighty classified into four groups (diabetic control group, stage before dialysis group) according its Complete clinical examination, investigation biochemical analysis, twenty controlled not suffered kidney impairment considered group. ten frank healthy non persons enrolled volunteers. analysis (liver functions, lipid profile), add measuring Blood sugar, HbA1c, the recent biomarker taurine, was measured for all patient Results: The data showed non-significant change in profile, creatinine urine, Albumine regarding group (P>0.05). that Liver function demonstrated significance between groups, but values recorded significant changes related (p<0.05). Kidney (urea – creatinine) very highly (p<0.00), except Early also, there is a blood glucose HbA1c (P>0.001). On other hand, extremely decrease severity nephropathy compared (P<0.000). Conclusion: Serum reduced with advanced conditions Taurine Level (prognostic) complications.

Urinary angiotensinogen as a potential biomarker of diabetic nephropathy
BACKGROUND Activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) is an important mediator of diabetic nephropathy. Urinary angiotensinogen, a novel biomarker of the intrarenal RAAS, is associated with progressive kidney injury. In this study, the authors investigated the determinants of urinary angiotensinogen and its associations with staging of diabetic nephropathy. METHODS Random u...
متن کاملSmad1 as a biomarker for diabetic nephropathy.
Diabetic nephropathy is one of the most devastating complications of diabetes and develops in about one-third of diabetic patients. Exposure to a hyperglycemic environment with coexisting obesity, metabolic syndrome, hyperfiltration, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia plays a critical role in the development of diabetic nephropathy (1,2). Clinical trials demonstrated that improving glycemic contr...
متن کاملCan Prostate Specific Antigen Be Used as New Biomarker for Early Diagnosis of Breast Cancer?
Introduction: As a glycoprotein, Plasma Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) is mainly produced by prostate epithelial cells and is used as a major diagnostic tool for prostate cancer. A group of researchers relate the elevated number of estrogen receptors in breast cancer samples to the over-production of PSA in this type of cancer. Therefore, the present study aimed to determine the participants' ...
متن کاملOsteoinductive factor is a novel biomarker for the diagnosis of early diabetic nephropathy.
BACKGROUND Microalbuminuria is the earliest clinical sign of diabetic nephropathy (DN). However, earlier markers as a diagnostic tool for DN was required for the invalid of microalbuminuria in some cases. Osteoinductive factor (OIF) was known to be an essential component of the normal vascular matrix. We aimed to research the relationship between DN and OIF, and discussed the availability of th...

Diabetic nephropathy (DN), which is a major end-organ complication in diabetes, continues to be the most common cause of end-stage renal disease and accounts for .40% of patients on renal replacement therapy (1). Currently available factors that are routinely used in clinical practice to predict and monitor the progression of DN include degree of proteinuria and both glycemic and blood pressure...
