چکیده
We investigated the potential of tailings generated from chrysotile asbestos fiber production as a source iron, nonferrous metals, and gold. proposed use granulometric separation systematically examined different enrichment processes, namely magnetic separation, gravity concentration, using Knelson concentrator, to extract valuable components. The characterization initial tailing samples revealed that it comprises primarily serpentine, brucite, antigorite, hematite, vustite, sillimanite, magnesium oxide. Using suggested process, we isolated gold, chromite, nickel-cobalt concentrates products in addition magnetite. new approach exhibited high efficiency for allowing their satisfactory extraction.

A COMMERCIALLY viable method of recovering polymer-grade ethylene from waste gas streams has been ded o p e d by TeMeCO Chemicals. Called the ESEP process, it is based on the cuprous aluminum tetrachloride technoIogy previously applied by Tenneco to the recovery of carbon monoxide from dilute gas streams, Cosorb. (ESEP and Cosorb are trademarks.) The ESEP effort, as described by Arthur P. Gutie...
متن کاملCross-correlations between spot and futures markets of nonferrous metals
In this paper, we investigate cross-correlations between nonferrousmetal spot and futures markets using detrended cross-correlation analysis (DCCA). We find the existence of significant cross-correlations for both return and volatility series. The DCCA-based crosscorrelation coefficients are very high and decrease with the futures maturity increases. Using the multifractal extension of DCCA, th...
متن کاملMicrobial Leaching Process to Recover Valuable Metals from Spent Petroleum Catalyst Using Iron Oxidizing Bacteria
Spent petroleum catalyst from Korean petrochemical industry contains trace amount of metals such as Ni, V and Mo. Therefore an attempt was made to recover those trace metal using bioleaching process. Different leaching parameters such as Fe(II) concentration, pulp density, pH, temperature and particle size of spent catalyst particle were studied to evaluate their effects on the leaching efficie...
متن کاملMechanochemical treatment to recycling asbestos-containing waste.
Numerous industrial and experimental facilities have been set up, particularly in the last ten years, as a result of studies and researches on treating asbestos-containing waste (ACW) to stabilise it and to enable its reuse. Some of the stabilisation processes reduce the hazards of ACW by imprisoning in a cement or resonoid matrix. Other processes modify the fibrous structure of asbestos and tr...
