چکیده
Abstract Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is one of the most lethal malignant tumors. It has been shown that general anesthetic agents, propofol and astragaloside IV (AS-IV) both exert antitumor effects in NSCLC. However, combination with AS-IV NSCLC remain unclear. Cell counting kit-8, EdU Transwell assays were performed to evaluate viability, proliferation, migration. apoptosis autophagy observed by flow cytometric analysis TUNEL LC3 staining, respectively. notably enhanced anti-proliferative, pro-apoptotic, anti-migratory properties cells. Moreover, remarkably facilitated anti-autophagy effect cells downregulating LC3, Beclin 1, ATG5. Significantly, pro-apoptotic ability AS-IV/propofol was further inhibitor 3-MA, suggesting plays a tumor-promoting role Collectively, could facilitate abilities inhibiting autophagy. These findings may be beneficial for future studies on use treatment

Chloroquine enhances the cytotoxicity of topotecan by inhibiting autophagy in lung cancer cells
Although the anti-malaria drug chloroquine (CQ) has been shown to enhance chemotherapy and radiation sensitivity in clinical trials, the potential mechanisms underlying this enhancement are still unclear. Here, we examined the relevant mechanisms by which the multipotent CQ enhanced the cytotoxicity of topotecan (TPT). The lung cancer cell line A549 was treated with TPT alone or TPT combined wi...

since the 1960s the age effects on learning both first and second language have been explored by many linguists and applied linguists (e.g lennerberg, 1967; schachter, 1996; long, 1990) and the existence of critical period for language acquisition was found to be a common ground of all these studies. in spite of some common findings, some issues about the impacts of age on acquiring a second or...

flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...
Antitumor Effects of HPV DNA Vaccine Adjuvanted with Beclin-1 as an Autophagy Inducer in a Mice Model
Background: There is a growing interest in development of an effective adjuvant system for improving DNA vaccines. Recent findings have confirmed an important role for autophagy in both innate and adaptive immunity. The current study was undertaken to determine the efficacy of autophagy induction with Beclin-1, as a novel adjuvant system, in mice immunized with human papilloma virus (HPV) DNA v...
