the aesthetic dimension of howard barkers art: a frankfurtian approach to scenes from an execution and no end of blame
On generalizations of semiperfect and perfect rings
We call a ring $R$ right generalized semiperfect if every simple right $R$-module is an epimorphic image of a flat right $R$-module with small kernel, that is, every simple right $R$-module has a flat $B$-cover. We give some properties of such rings along with examples. We introduce flat strong covers as flat covers which are also flat $B$-covers and give characterizations of $A$-perfe...
Nothing's perfect: the art of defining HLA-specific antibodies.
The advent of solid phase assays and in particular the single antigen bead (SAB) assay, on the Luminex platform has led to previously unheralded levels of HLA-specific antibody characterisation. However, it soon became apparent that the detection of antibodies detected by these assays was less than perfect and that not all antibodies determined could be considered clinically relevant. Thus, the...
Some properties of n-capable and n-perfect groups
In this article we introduce the notion of n-capable groups. It is shown that every group G admits a uniquely determined subgroup (〖Z^n)〗^* (G) which is a characteristic subgroup and lies in the n-centre subgroup of the group G. This is the smallest subgroup of G whose factor group is n-capable. Moreover, some properties of n-central extension will be studied.
