Approach for ISAR imaging of near-field targets based on coordinate conversion and image interpolation

Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging of near-field targets is potentially useful in some specific applications, which makes it very important to efficiently produce high-quality image the target. In this paper, simplified target model with uniform linear motion applied imaging, overcomes complexity traditional algorithm. According signal model, method based on coordinate conversion and interpolation combined range-Doppler (R-D) algorithm proposed correct distortion problem. Compared back-projection (BP) algorithm, produces better focused ISAR images target, decreases computation significantly. Experimental results simulated data have demonstrated effectiveness robustness method.
