Abstract : APPLYING A GENRE BASED-APPROACH WITH AUDIO VISUAL AID FOR IMPROVING WRITING SKILL IN GRADE 11 STUDENTSOF MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI SERDANG BEDAGAI. The purpose of this study is To find out the effectiveness in applying a GBA with Audio Visual Media Teaching Listening for improving writing skill Grade students MANSB. Subject was all 11th grade This research procedure include is: Preparing learning model; Determining class/treatment group, namely control group and experimental Doing pre test, Conducting teaching activities (KBM) class using model, Post-test, Analyzing data. Result experiment (Pre-Test) 36 students, majority them (11 or 31%) get core range 52.51-60.00. 35 (13 37%) score 50.01 - 60.00. (Post-Test) (8 22%) 82.51 88.33. (12 34%) 62.51 70.00.
