Application of Phosphogypsum in Road Construction

Abstract. Currently the Republic of Belarus is solving problem processing a by-product – phosphogypsum, formed in process phosphorric acid production. The issue utilization phosphogypsum becoming more and relevant, there are several reasons for this: transportation to dumps its storage require large capital investments operating costs; when creating dumps, it necessary alienate areas, sometimes even cultivated land; this material with neutralization soluble impurities observance dump operational rules causes irreparable harm environment. There known studies scientists on use road construction as binder strengthening soils, foundations repair work. paper presents results experiments obtaining road-building materials from waste without converting into binder. Based research, technology preparation asphalt concrete mixtures mineral powder form dihydrate has been developed.
