چکیده
In this article, the applicability of mode-adaptive bidirectional pushover analysis (MABPA) to base-isolated irregular buildings was evaluated. The point updated MABPA is that peaks first and second modal responses are predicted considering energy balance during a half cycle structural response. numerical examples, main building former Uto City Hall, which severely damaged in 2016 Kumamoto earthquake, investigated as case study for retrofitting an reinforced concrete using base-isolation technique. comparisons between peak response by nonlinear time-history results showed relative displacement can be properly MABPA. also performance retrofitted models satisfactory ground motion considered study, including recorded motions earthquake.

An Energy Based Adaptive Pushover Analysis for Nonlinear Static Procedures
Nonlinear static procedure (NSP) is a common technique to predict seismic demands on various building structures by subjecting a monotonically increasing horizontal loading (pushover) to the structure. Therefore, the pushover analysis is an important part of each NSP. Accordingly, the current paper aims at investigating the efficiencyof various algorithms of lateral load patterns applied to the...
