Application of Elicitors in Grapevine Defense: Impact on Volatile Compounds

Elicitors as alternatives to agrochemicals are widely used a sustainable farming practice. The use of elicitors in viticulture control disease and improve phenolic compounds is recognized this field. Concurrently, they also affect other secondary metabolites, such aroma compounds. Grape wine an important quality factor that reflects nutritional information influences consumer preference. However, the effects on diverse, different grape varieties respond differently treatments. Among numerous commercialized elicitors, some have proven very effective improving grapes resulting wines. This review summarizes commonly grapevines for protection against biotic abiotic stresses their impact volatile work intended serve reference growers development high-quality grapes.
