چکیده
Abstract The pore-structure characteristics of hybrid basalt–polypropylene fibre-reinforced concrete were investigated by using mercury intrusion porosimetry. applicability various fractal models in characterising the HBPRC pore structure was compared. results show that types and content fibres different influences on cumulative volume basalt-polypropylene concrete. Compared with pore-volume solid mass, surface area is more significant. Furthermore, pore-surface model established based energy conservation relationship during accurate effective for characterization dimension research can provide important theoretical guidance study

Ductility Performance of Hybrid Fibre Reinforced Concrete
This study presents a study on the ductility performance of hybrid fibre reinforced concrete. The influence of fibre content on the ductility performance of hybrid fibre reinforced concrete specimens having different fibre volume fractions was investigated. The parameters of investigation included modulus of rupture, ultimate load, service load, ultimate and service load deflection, crack width...
متن کاملMechanical Properties of Hybrid Fibre Reinforced Concrete With Steel And
The experimental study deals with Hybrid fibre reinforced concrete with the use of (Polypropylene and Recycled polyethylene terephthalate RPET). The M40 grade concrete used was designed by using IS10262-2009 code. The steel fibre and synthetic fibre were added at the volume fractions up to 0.5%. Test results showed that the fibres, when used in a hybrid form, could result in superior composite ...
متن کاملGlass Fibre Reinforced Concrete
Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete is recent introduction in the field of concrete technology. The present day world is witnessing the construction of very challenging and difficult Civil Engineering Structures. Concrete being the most important and widely used material is called upon to possess very high strength and sufficient workability properties. Concrete the most widely used consrtuction ma...
متن کاملApplications and Properties of Fibre Reinforced Concrete
In conventional concrete, micro-cracks develop before structure is loaded because of drying shrinkage and other causes of volume change. When the structure is loaded, the micro cracks open up and propagate because of development of such micro-cracks, results in inelastic deformation in concrete. Fibre reinforced concrete (FRC) is cementing concrete reinforced mixture with more or less randomly ...
متن کاملProperties of Hemp Fibre Reinforced Concrete Composites
This research is concerned with the mechanical and physical properties of hemp fibre reinforced concrete (HFRC). An experimental program was developed based on the statistical method of fractional factors design. The variables for the experimental study were: 1) mixing method; 2) fibre content by weight; 3) aggregate size; and 4) fibre length. Their effects on the compressive and flexural perfo...
