چکیده
For a number of decades, Russian Research Institute Fruit Crop Breeding (formerly the Orel experimental fruit-berry station) has been studying large collection apple cultivars common selection, which includes: Antonovka Obyknovennaya, Krasnobochka, Anis, Babushkino, Borovinka, Grushovka Moskovskaya, Korichnoye Polosatoye, Korobovka, Osenneye Papirovka, Papirovka Tetraploidnaya, Renet Zolotoy Kursky, Skryzhapel, Suyslepskoye and others (more than 20 in total) with different dates fruit maturation. Most them are highly adaptable hardy conditions Central Russia. Polosatoye resistant selection. Some produce quite fruits: Krupnoplodnaya (150 g), Aport (201 Titovka (205 g). Krupnoplodnaya, Aport, Kursky distinguished by an attractive appearance fruits. selection have good taste fruit: Chernoye Derevo. A characterized increased content sugars (Babushkino), ascorbic acid sum P-active substances (Ossenneye Polosatoye) — 415 mg/100 g at average values indicators biochemical composition national selection: 9,4%, 13,1 g, 247 g. The article gives brief economic biological characteristics new developed participation (which is 36.5% assortment). authors conclude that great interest creating competitive adaptive cultivars.

Traditional versus modern apple cultivars – a comparison of juice composition
Apples are rich in components that are important for human health, such as polyphenols, organic acids and microelements, but their chemical composition varies with different apple cultivars. We aimed to find out if there is any superiority in traditionally grown apple cultivars in terms of their fruits’ bioactive components content. Juice from two traditionally grown apple cultivars, ‘Mutsu’ an...
متن کاملSNP discovery in apple cultivars using next generation sequencing
Background Knowledge about single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers is extremely important in the development of genotyping assays, allowing improvements in plant breeding through marker-assisted selection. With the emergence of next generation sequencing platforms, high-density SNP discovery in the genome of plant crops becomes more achievable. In this project, we carried out whole genome ...
متن کاملDifferent Preclimacteric Events in Apple Cultivars with Modified Ripening Physiology
"Anna" is an early season apple cultivar exhibiting a fast softening and juiciness loss during storage, in comparison to two mid-late season cultivars "Galaxy" and "GD." The poor storage capacity of "Anna" was correlated with high lipid oxidation-related autoluminescence, high respiration and ethylene production rates, associated with high expression of MdACO1, 2, 4, 7, and MdACS1. All cultivar...

This study was carried out on Topaz, Cooper 39 and Muscat apple cultivars grafted on M27 rootstocks under Tokat ecological conditions during 2008 2010. The trees planted in 2.0 m x 0.5 m row spacing (10,000 trees ha-1) and trained to super spindle (SS) training system. The vegetative development, yield and fruit quality performances of the trees supported by wire – pole combination were observe...
متن کاملA review of the potential for competitive cereal cultivars as a tool in integrated weed management
Competitive crop cultivars offer a potentially cheap option to include in integrated weed management strategies (IWM). Although cultivars with high competitive potential have been identified amongst cereal crops, competitiveness has not traditionally been considered a priority for breeding or farmer cultivar choice. The challenge of managing herbicide-resistant weed populations has, however, re...
