Appendiceal mucocele formation can be induced by mechanical obstruction due to various reasons; In very rare cases, mucosal prolapse of the appendix also cause mucocele. We first present case a 38-year-old woman who was diagnosed with appendiceal associated prolapse. The lesion found colonoscopy and treated surgically. On examining specimen, it revealed dilated lumen containing mucinous fluid at proximal portion, polypoid mass mid slightly distal portion filled mucoid material. But there no histologic evidence polyp. report resulting in review concepts
