Autonomous Maintenance (AM ) is o ne of the main activities in Total Productive (TPM). This article discusses implementation AM at diffuser station Kedawoeng Sugar Factory using Bayes' theorem. To maintain continuity sugar production, needs to improve maintenance system. improves system without depending on limited personnel factory. The concept demands that production operator be involved process. Increasing operator's ability diagnose damage through symptoms necessary. Bayes theorem successfully helps operators predict machine failure take quick and effective action prevent a more significant impact. study identified 11 m achine malfunction can detected five senses lead 14 failures. One research findings if are only abnormal sounds, highest probability motor-bearing gear 0.762. Suppose warning accompanies sound control panel increases 0.987. A clear division responsibilities between technicians training for suggestions next steps implementing TPM.
