چکیده

Background: Bleaching teeth is popular because the discoloration a major people’s concern. This study aimed to compare effect of three antioxidants on microleakage composite resin filling after bleaching with 35% H2O2, thus minimizing potential clinical toxicity materials entering patients’ body. Methods: Sixty-six extracted intact were included in this study. After preparation ClV cavity buccal surface, randomly divided into six groups (n=11, each). Except for group A (control), all others bleached. Cavities filled resin. In B, samples immediately restored while C, was delayed two weeks bleaching. D, E, and F, cavities treated either sodium ascorbate, ascorbic acid, or vitamin restored. Teeth sectioned microleakages examined microscopically, data analyzed statistically. Results: Group showed least amount microleakage. there significant increase when The among F similar those A. Conclusion: increased significantly treating dental effectively reduced Thus, useful approach minimize findings help reduce prevent arising from materials.

Effects of two antioxidants on the microleakage of resin-based composite restorations after nonvital bleaching.

AIM The aim of this study was to compare the neutralizing effect of antioxidant agents on the microleakage of dental restorations in nonvital teeth after bleaching with carbamide peroxide. Also assessed was the correlation of the microleakage data between an electrochemical and a staining technique. METHODS AND MATERIALS Following root canal therapy, 40 sound and similar human maxillary centr...

Effects of antioxidants on the microleakage of composite resin restorations after external tooth bleaching

OBJECTIVE To compare the effects of three antioxidants (sodium ascorbate, sodium ascorbate combined with a surfactant, and catalase) on the microleakage of composite resin restorations after external tooth bleaching with 10% carbamide peroxide. MATERIALS AND METHODS Buccal cavities were prepared on the surface of 60 intact premolars, which were randomly divided into six groups. All cavities w...

Effect of Two Disinfecting Agents on the Microleakage of Resin-Based Composite Restorations in Primary Teeth

Introduction: Disinfection of the cavity preparation after caries excavation can lead to the elimination of bacterial remnants that can be responsible for recurrent caries, postoperative sensitivity, and failure of the restoration. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of two disinfectants on microleakage of composite restorations in primary teeth. Metho...

Comparison of coronal microleakage of resin modified glass ionomer and composite resin as intra-orifice barriers in internal bleaching

Introduction: Internal bleaching is a treatment option for wightening endodontically treated discolored teeth. Cervical resorption is one of the side effects of this method. The aim of this study was to compare the sealing ability of resin composite and light-cured resin modified glass ionomer (RMGI) as intra-orifice barriers in internal bleaching. Materials &Methods: In this study, 34 single...
