چکیده

In this study, it was aimed to investigate the antioxidant and antibacterial capacity of rosehip plant grown in Samsun its surroundings. fruits were collected from 10 different regions around Samsun. order samples, ascorbic acid amount grams (g) acid, total tannin gram tannic flavonoid mg quercetin, phenolic substance gallic equivalent (GAE), protein g bovine serum albumin (BSA) /100 rosehips; level (TAS) mmol trolox equivalent/L, oxidant calculated H2O2 equivalent/L. Disk diffusion method used measure inhibition diameters samples determined millimeters (mm).In line with findings obtained our is 0.781-1.120 acid/100 rosehip, 1.42-4.65 flavonoids 29.5-36.3 quercetin/100 4.700 -8.347 GAE/100 0.54-0.89 BSA/100 2.59-2.62 6.13-7.41 mmol/ test Antimicrobial activity against bacteria not determined. In research, that fruit surroundings has a high due contains, also shows activity. As result concluded composition adding feeds livestock such as cattle, poultry pigs will have positive effects.
