Antioxidant Activity and Phytochemical Identification of Annona Squamosa Leaves Methanolic Extracts

The antioxidant activity of Annona squamosa (A. squamosa) leaf was carried out using methanol extract and fractionated namely n-hexane, ethyl acetate residue. performed the 1-diphenyl-2-Pycrilhydrazil (DPPH) method. test residue yielded IC50 6.87, 169.99, 31.55 44.75 ppm. fraction with ppm by column chromatography silica gel G60 as stationary phase n-hexane: mobile phase. results obtained 181 fractions were combined based on stain pattern into 4 subfractions. Antioxidant each subfraction showed that ASE 3 had strongest activity. Furthermore, analyzed Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). According, GC-MS data analysis third contained 19 phytochemical compounds, where compounds having highest concentration, 4,4'-((p-Phenylene)diisopropylidene) diphenol, dodecanoic acid, methyl ester phthalic isobutyl 2-methylpent-3-yl ester.
