Antimikrobiyal Potential of Silver Nanoparticles Produced by Apricot Leaf Extract

Metallic nanoparticles are important substances in medicine. These particles could be prepared by various ways including green synthesis. The production of silver plant extracts is widely used because their environmentally friendly properties. In this study, have been synthesized biological method and Apricot tree (Prunus armeniaca) leaf extract was as reducing agent. color change formation the characteristic absorption peak at 400-500 nm were first indications AgNP formation. XRD analysis showed crystalline obtained AgNPs generally spherical shape with average particle size 24 nm. Their antimicrobial activity studies against pathogenic microorganisms that they strong antibacterial Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus antifungal Candida albicans. minimum inhibitory concentrations for E. coli, S. C. albicans 0.125, 0.125 0.250 ?g/mL, respectively. results confirmed Prunus armeniaca to produce efficient activity.
