چکیده
Background. Streptomycetes were and remain a source of new antimicrobial compounds various nature. A wave interest in such research is associated with the possibilities applied genomics to reveal hidden biosynthetic potential streptomycetes, therefore discovery practically valuable products. The problem antibiotic resistance pathogens can be solved by creating compositions active substances different nature overcome protective mechanisms pathogens.
 Objective. purpose work was establish evaluate cytotoxic characteristics streptofungin, synthesized Streptomyces albus 2435 (CMIM-S-668) its mutant strains 2435/М, UN44, 4S, US101, AE6, 105, 80/5.
 Methods. To antagonistic activity selected S. producer determined (by radial streak method), minimum inhibitory concentration serial dilution cytotoxicity MTT test resazurin.
 Results. streptofungin against Candida fungi (C. albicans, C. utilis) shown. Minimum concentrations for albicans ATCC 10231 (10 μg/ml), B. subtilis 6633 (200 μg/ml) P. aeruginosa 9027 (500 μg/ml). According resazurin test, does not show effect wide range from 2.5 500 μg/ml, considered potentially permissible humans animals studied concentrations.
