چکیده

Microbial infections cause complicated health influences along with bad economic impacts. In the present investigation, three dominant seaweeds namely, Amphiroa anceps, Corallina officinalis and Sargassum filipendula were collected from different Egyptian sites at Red Sea Mediterranean during autumn 2019. Organic extracts of algae screened for their antibacterial activity against pathogenic bacteria Salmonella typhiimurium, Staphylococcus aureus Escherichia coli, in addition to vitro antiviral Rotavirus (RV), Coxsackie virus B3 (CVB3) that severe diseases human. extract A. C. S. inhibit E. coli cells by 57.1%, 85.7%, 91.4%, respectively. The highest level concentration (100 µg/mL) inhibits 100% followed anceps which 82.5% 75% aureus. Similarly, typhiimurium 80%. exhibited a high effect RV infection TI = 22 titers lessened 2.75 log TCID50 extractions 18.3 reduced 2.5 TCID50. Against CVB3 infection, causes 15 reduce viral TCID50, 8.8 inhibition 1.75 Extract displayed lowest effects 2.4 1.4, obtained results clarified marine maintains potent antimicrobial activity, making them future promising source new drugs.
