چکیده
Medicinal herbs are the potential sources for antimicrobial compounds against soil-borne pathogens. The present investigation focuses on assessing efficacy of antifungal activity volatile organic (VOCs) produced by seven different medicinal in suppression F. oxysporum f.sp. lycopercisi, causal agent wilt disease tomato plants. Among samples tested in-vitro, blend VOCs emitted from mint (Mentha spicata) leaves inhibited mycelial growth o. lycopercisi up to 41.88% followed lemongrass (39.44%) and nochi (34.66%). important were identified through Headspace – Gas chromatography coupled with Mass Spectrophotometry (HS-GCMS) which revealed presence around 25 varied functional groups. them -(-) carvone obtained had highest relative abundance (2.08% peak area at 10.25 RT). In addition, geraniol citronellol also a percentage 15.85 10.37 RT 5.27 9.97 RT, respectively. Pure carvone, (Sigma Aldrich) along plant vitro comparison inhibition f. sp. lycopercisi. samples, was found be most effective suppressed pathogen 100% 500 ppm, (up 90% inhibition) partition plate method. results indicated that could explored an additive effect management other Integrated Disease Management (IDM) practices.

3'-Hydroxylation of isoflavones by Fusarium oxysporum f. lycopersici mainly proceeds with 4'-methoxy-7-hydroxyderivatives; this reaction is used for quantitative conversion of 14C-labelled isoflavones.
متن کاملOrigin of Race 3 of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici at a Single Site in California.
ABSTRACT Thirty-nine isolates of Fusarium oxysporum were collected from tomato plants displaying wilt symptoms in a field in California 2 years after F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici race 3 was first observed at that location. These and other isolates of F. oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici were characterized by pathogenicity, race, and vegetative compatibility group (VCG). Of the 39 California isola...

Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici is a destructive disease of tomato crops worldwide. The use of resistant varieties is the best strategy for disease control. In the present study we analyze eight tomato lines and hybrids for Fusarium wilt disease resistance by polymerase chain reaction. Total genomic DNA was extracted from young leaves of three-week-old plants of to...
