چکیده

The theory behind the electrical switching of antiferromagnets is premised on existence a well defined broken symmetry state that can be rotated to encode information. A spin glass in many ways antithesis this state, characterized by an ergodic landscape nearly degenerate magnetic configurations, choosing freeze into distribution these manner seemingly bereft In study, we show coexistence and antiferromagnetic order allows novel mechanism facilitate antiferromagnet Fe$_{1/3+\delta}$NbS$_2$, which rooted electrically-stimulated collective winding glass. local texture opens anisotropic channel interaction used rotate equilibrium orientation state. use glass' dynamics electrically manipulate textures has never been applied before, opening field spintronics more material platforms with complex textures.

Antiferromagnetic THz-frequency Josephson-like Oscillator Driven by Spin Current

The development of compact and tunable room temperature sources of coherent THz-frequency signals would open a way for numerous new applications. The existing approaches to THz-frequency generation based on superconductor Josephson junctions (JJ), free electron lasers, and quantum cascades require cryogenic temperatures or/and complex setups, preventing the miniaturization and wide use of these...

Antiferromagnetic Domain Wall Motion Driven by Spin-Orbit Torques.

We theoretically investigate the dynamics of antiferromagnetic domain walls driven by spin-orbit torques in antiferromagnet-heavy-metal bilayers. We show that spin-orbit torques drive antiferromagnetic domain walls much faster than ferromagnetic domain walls. As the domain wall velocity approaches the maximum spin-wave group velocity, the domain wall undergoes Lorentz contraction and emits spin...

Aging dynamics of the Heisenberg spin glass

We numerically study the nonequilibrium dynamics of the three-dimensional Heisenberg Edwards-Anderson spin glass following a sudden quench to its low-temperature phase. The subsequent aging behavior of the system is analyzed in detail, and the scaling behavior of various space-time correlation functions is investigated for both spin and chiral degrees of freedom. We carefully compare our result...

Glass-like dynamics of collective cell migration.

Collective cell migration in tissues occurs throughout embryonic development, during wound healing, and in cancerous tumor invasion, yet most detailed knowledge of cell migration comes from single-cell studies. As single cells migrate, the shape of the cell body fluctuates dramatically through cyclic processes of extension, adhesion, and retraction, accompanied by erratic changes in migration d...

Dynamics of the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg spin − 1 / 2 chain

In magnetic systems, interactions between electrons can be described by an effective spinspin interaction. When the wavefunctions of the electrons overlap mainly in one direction, the system behaves as an effectively one-dimensional spin chain. A special class of such a spin chain is the anisotropic Heisenberg model, also called the XXZ model. Exact wavefunctions for the (gapped) antiferromagne...
