Anticandidal Activity of Moroccan Medicinal Plants

The prevalence of oral candidiasis has increased over recent years in patients with the compromised general condition. There are a large number plant species that have been traditionally used for diseases by Moroccan population. These could provide source discovering new active principles natural origin against Candida albicans involved appearance infections. Information was acquired using electronic databases Web Science, Scopus and PubMed. In first part, this review presents medicinal plants population treatment disorders (Toothaches, gingivitis, ulcers, stomatitis, abscesses, ...). second part describes different studies regarding antifungal activity essential oils organic extracts some albicans.
