Abstract Staphylococcus aureus is one of the most common pathogens in biofilm-associated chronic infections. S. living within biofilms evades host immune response and more resistant to antibiotics than planktonic bacteria. In this study, we generated with low high levels biofilm formation using rbf (regulator formation) gene performed a BioTimer assay determine minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) minimal bactericidal (MBC) various types antibiotics.
