چکیده
The proposed study aims in first part to discuss the structure and behavior of short-stretch cotton woven compression bandage (WCB), second production properties multifunctional WCB. includes an integrated tension sensor, which causes a change spacing colored threads during its deformation. motivation this research was investigate optimum techniques for therapy using modified construction WCB as tensiometer. aim is focused on industrial product has easy adjustable antibacterial properties. Multifunctional can be produced by two methods, highly twisted warp yarns (ply twist 1800 2200 twist/m) weft will treated with silver Nano-particles (NPs). method post-treatment three concentrations zinc oxide NPs 1–3 % powder form 15 g/L acrylic binder. Silver coated showed comparable activity both tested bacterial strains ( Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus) quantitative qualitative test methods. samples achieved 95–99% bacteria reduction, nanoparticles size distribution were confirmed Zetasizer Nano, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS). practical pressure PicoPress significant deviations compared theoretical calculated Laplace’s equation ranges ±0.68 ±15.64% especially at highest extension levels.

Memory Bandage for Functional Compression Management for Venous Ulcers
In current compression practice for the treatment of chronic venous disorders, there has always been a challenge of controlled compression by a bandage to achieve a particular pressure range in the affected region of the limb. The challenges in compression in the products could be solved if there were the possibility of stress control in fabric. Herein, we are exploiting the newly discovered ph...
متن کاملCompression therapy for venous leg ulcers
Venous (gravitational) leg ulcers are unsightly, sometimes painful and often difficult to heal. They are associated with incompetence of valves in the deep leg veins and venous hypertension. The main approaches in the management of venous leg ulcers have been to reduce the 'back pressure' in the veins by surgical removal of any varicose veins, postural drainage (elevation of the legs when the p...
متن کاملA systematic review of compression therapy for venous leg ulcers.
The aim of the study was to determine the relative effectiveness of compression therapies used in the treatment of venous leg ulcers. Randomized controlled trials (RCT) were sought using a search strategy that aimed to identify relevant RCT by searching eight electronic databases (including Medline, Embase and CINHAL), conference proceedings and hand searching key journals. In addition, citatio...
متن کاملDelivery of compression therapy for venous leg ulcers.
IMPORTANCE Despite the documented effect of compression therapy in clinical studies and its widespread prescription, treatment of venous leg ulcers is often prolonged and recurrence rates high. Data on provided compression therapy are limited. OBJECTIVE To assess whether home care nurses achieve adequate subbandage pressure when treating patients with venous leg ulcers and the factors that pr...
