چکیده
Background: It is well known that the herbs have therapeutic efficacy against infectious agents including bacterial ones. In current study, antibacterial activities of methanolic extracts nine were evaluated resistant enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) using disc diffusion method. Methods: Isolation and identification EPEC was done by standard bacteriological methods PCR assays. Sensitivity isolates to antibiotics determined The prepared growth inhibition test Minimum inhibitory concentration minimum bactericidal agar microdilution Result: Out 150 faecal samples, a total 135 isolated among them, 36 identified as EPEC. showed resistance multiple antibiotics. maximum mean zone effect clinical demonstrated extract Holarrhaena antidysenterica (19.16±0.76 mm) followed Acacia nilotica (18.00±1.00 Punica granatum (16.67±1.53 mm). This study validates said plants can be used therapy colibacillosis in neonatal goat kids.

Evaluation of Antibacterial Activity of Some Traditionally Used Medicinal Plants against Human Pathogenic Bacteria
The worldwide increase of multidrug resistance in both community- and health-care associated bacterial infections has impaired the current antimicrobial therapy, warranting the search for other alternatives. We aimed to find the in vitro antibacterial activity of ethanolic extracts of 16 different traditionally used medicinal plants of Nepal against 13 clinical and 2 reference bacterial species...

BACKGROUND Medicinal plants are widely used for the treatment of different infectious diseases. Infectious diseases caused by bacteria have a large impact on public health. This study aimed to determine the in vitro antibacterial activity of the medicinal plants traditionally used in Vietnam against the bacterial strains associated with infectious diseases. METHODS Methanol extracts of twelve...
متن کاملantibacterial activity of chitosan against escherichia coli
introduction: chitosan possesses more than 5000 glucossamine residue. since chitosan possesses potentially reactive amino functional groups, this polymer has been shown to be of potential use in many different fields, including as an antifungal compound in agriculture, flocculating in waste water treatment, a food additive and alimentary industries, hydrating agent in cosmetics and more recentl...
متن کاملEssential Oils Nanoemulsions: Preparation, Characterization and Study of Antibacterial Activity against Escherichia Coli
This research studies the application of essential oil nanoemulsion as herbal medicine instead of using antibiotics and chemicals. Thyme, shirazi thyme and rosemary essential oils were selected as herbal drugs. Essential oil nanoemulsions with Tween 80 and/or Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) surfactants were prepared and investigated. Physicochemical characterizations such as hydrodynamic di...
متن کاملAntibacterial activity evaluation of microcin J25 against diarrheagenic Escherichia coli.
The inhibitory activities of known microcins were evaluated against some diarrheagenic Escherichia coli strains. Some antibacterial properties of microcin J25, the most active one, were studied. A rapid two-step purification was performed. The MIC and the minimum bactericidal concentration of J25 against E. coli O157:H7 were 1 and 100 microg ml(-1), respectively. A 10(4)-CFU ml(-1) contaminatio...
