Anti-solvent crystallization: Particle size distribution with different devices

Particle size distribution (PSD) is one of the critical attributes crystals. PSD not only influences downstream processes but also controls final product performance in crystallization. In this work, we have used model system methanol–water-paracetamol for carrying out anti-solvent crystallization to produce paracetamol With reference a base case stirred tank, three devices connected tank with an external loop full recycling. A peristaltic pump was circulate contents comprising simple tube, fluidic oscillator (FO), and vortex diode (VD). Anti-solvent introduced at point lying between these understand influence on mixing potential particle breakage.
