چکیده
Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurological condition that worsens with age (i.e., 1% of people over 65) no permanent cure. Hence, finding disease-modifying agent fewer undesirable side effects urgently needed. pathology results in the degeneration dopaminergic (DAergic) neurons by accumulating lewy bodies, alpha-synuclein (-syn), lowering anti-oxidants, increasing neuronal inflammation, and altering neuron shape. A well-researched natural substance called withania somnifera (WS) has potent anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, anti-neurodegenerative impact. WS, sometimes as Indian Ginseng, subtropical undershrub Solanaceae family together Ashwagandha. In current work, EWSR's anti-inflammatory neuroprotective efficacy was assessed relation to rotenone-induced oxidative stress LPO, CAT, SOD & GSH), microglial activation, neurodegeneration rotenone rat PD model. ROT-induced brains, EWSR therapy resulted considerable decrease LPO increased levels antioxidants SOD, GSH. Furthermore, our research showed intraperitoneal treatment (40 mg/kg) rats reduced activation loss substantia nigra (SN) hippocampus caused neurotoxicity. Based on observations, can be considered an excellent source for neuroprotection, due its significant anti-microglial properties when administered individually combination known compounds (Doxycycline Ellagic acids). But, further required before replacing treatments phytochemical treatments.

PURPOSE Here, we...
متن کاملWithania somnifera Root Extract Enhances Chemotherapy through ‘Priming’
Withania somnifera extracts are known for their anti-cancerous, anti-inflammatory and antioxidative properties. One of their mechanisms of actions is to modulate mitochondrial function through increasing oxidative stress. Recently 'priming' has been suggested as a potential mechanism for enhancing cancer cell death. In this study we demonstrate that 'priming', in HT-29 colon cells, with W. somn...
