چکیده
This study was conducted to investigate the in vitro anti-inflammatory, anti-elastase, procollagen production, and astringent activities of Euphorbia thymifolia extracts prepared using two solvents for cosmetic application focusing on skin aging. Extraction performed by solvent extraction method with methanol (EM) hot-water (EW). Astringent activity EM increased concentration dependent manner showed higher than EW. Anti-elastase collagen synthesis properties were evaluated enzyme immunoassay (EIA). Both EW suppressed elastase also significantly augmented production NHDF cells. The effect anti-inflammatory determined Griess reagent assay, western blot analysis, ELISA. extract inhibited nitrite overproduction iNOS protein level without affecting cell viability. In addition, LPS (Lipopolysaccharide)-mediated TNF-α IL-6 secretion reduced treated RAW264.7 excellent anti-aging displayed E. highlighted its potential as a natural source agent cosmetic.
