Researchers favor polymeric membranes for water treatment because of their excellent separation selectivity, high membrane performance, unique interconnected structure and inexpensive cost. Electrospinning, phase inversion, track-etching, slip casting, film-stretching are some the methods fabricating membranes. Among them, electrospun nanofiber (ENMs) most actively explored which address fouling issues during wastewater treatment. It has a lot advantages application. ENMs can be classified into inorganic organic, it is important to determine type or polymer that suitable The choice depends on many factors, including composition operation parameters, application area goals. Nevertheless, results in poor rejection efficiency flux behavior remain as challenges. Therefore, surface modification been widely embraced improve process. this review paper aims provide detailed analysis common used organic applications. also provided insights future perspectives We hope article guidance wide range industry. This chapter discusses various kinds vapor deposition processes deposit functional coatings onto substrates introduces industrially wet processes.
