Antenatal care and its association with pregnancy outcomes at tertiary care hospital, Jhalawar

Background: Low birth weight is a major public health problem in India. Amongst several many factors affecting weight, the two are demographic characteristics of mothers and utilization antenatal care services after timely registration pregnancy. Aims were to access ANC its association with pregnancy outcomes at Jhalawar medical college, Rajasthan. Methods: All pregnant women admitted maternity ward for delivery November 2022. The interview consisted characteristic mothers, services, live baby, records mother from hospital. Data collection was done vaccination site. It hospital-based cross-sectional study. Results: Among who registered 1st trimester, 81.6% delivered full term, 77% new-born normal only 8.5% needed NICU admission; compared those 2nd 3rd trimesters term 67.1% 55% respectively, 63.3% 50% had admission by 17.7% respectively. Those received ≥4 visits 186 (78.8%) required 24 (10.2%) as <4 109 (64.9.8%) weight. Conclusions: Early prevents chances LBW long stay also leads reduction preterm delivery.
