Manifolds admitting stable forms
Special geometries defined by a class of differential forms on manifolds are again in the center of interests of geometers. These interests are motivated by the fact that such a setting of special geometries unifies many known geometries as symplectic geometry and geometries with special holonomy [Joyce2000], as well as other geometries arised in the M-theory [GMPW2004], [Tsimpis2005]. A series...
متن کاملA-manifolds admitting a functorial connection
A connection for a large class of G-structures is defined by means of a generic condition on the adjoint bundle and it is compared with the standard connections for classical G-structures. A characterization of the (not necessarily commutative) finite-dimensional R-algebras A for which GL(r,A)-structures admit such a connection, is obtained. Mathematics Subject Classification 2010: Primary: 53C...
متن کامل3-manifolds Admitting Toric Integrable Geodesic Flows
A toric integrable geodesic flow on a manifold M is a completely integrable geodesic flow such that the integrals generate a homogeneous torus action on the punctured cotangent bundle T ∗M \ M . A toric integrable manifold is a manifold which has a toric integrable geodesic flow. Toric integrable manifolds can be characterized as those whose cosphere bundle (the sphere bundle in the cotangent b...
متن کاملInvariant Submanifolds of Kenmotsu Manifolds Admitting Quarter Symmetric Metric Connection
The object of this paper is to study invariant submanifolds M of Kenmotsu manifolds M̃ admitting a quarter symmetric metric connection and to show that M admits quarter symmetric metric connection. Further it is proved that the second fundamental forms σ and σ with respect to LeviCivita connection and quarter symmetric metric connection coincide. Also it is shown that if the second fundamental f...
متن کاملPositive Mass Theorem on Manifolds admitting Corners along a Hypersurface
We study a class of non-smooth asymptotically flat manifolds on which metrics fails to be C across a hypersurface Σ. We first give an approximation scheme to mollify the metric, then we prove that the Positive Mass Theorem [8] still holds on these manifolds if a geometric boundary condition is satisfied by metrics separated by Σ.
