Anchored Instruction in Teaching Business Mathematics

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Anchored Instruction in teaching Business Mathematics senior high school students Simala National High School Cebu, Philippines. is a method which learners can generate problems, look for relevant data, and find solutions from situated problem-solving environment shown through videos. Its instructional design highlights three main features: generative stories, embedded problem complexity. A quasi-experimental research was utilized using pretest-posttest control experimental group design. Both groups with 40 subjects each were not significantly different other as established match pairing their profile. They given pretest, exposed respective interventions, then posttest. The Conventional Instruction, while Mathematics. Findings revealed that more effective than conventional instruction. learner-centeredness provided opportunities be highly engaged learning process, noted researcher’s observation interview selected subjects. As result, they could identify useful knowledge eventually overcome inert problem. Hence, it recommended utilize this
