Analyzing Spatial Trends of Precipitation Using Gridded Data in the Fez-Meknes Region, Morocco

The aim of this paper was to present a precipitation trend analysis using gridded data at annual, seasonal and monthly time scales over the Fez-Meknes region (northern Morocco) for period 1961–2019. Our results showed general decreasing an annual scale, especially mountain wetter parts region, which statistically significant in 72% grid points, ranging down ?30 mm per decade. A upward during autumn, but still non-significant 95% detected, while winter, negative trends were observed southwest (?10 ?20 decade) northeast areas (more than region. Spring rainfall significantly decreased 86% with values between 0 ?5 decade upper Moulouya ?10 rest (except northwest). These could help decision makers understand variability within work out proper plans taking into account effects climate change.
