چکیده
Using gravitational wave observations to search for deviations from general relativity in the strong-gravity regime has become an important research direction. Chern Simons (CS) gravity is one of most frequently studied parity-violating models strong gravity. It known that Kerr black-hole not a solution CS At same time, only rotating available literature dynamical (dCS) slow-rotating case accurately quadratic order spin. In this work, (accurate first spin), we derive linear perturbation equations governing metric and dCS field accurate spin coupling parameter ($\alpha$) obtain quasi-normal mode (QNM) frequencies. After confirming recent results Wagle et al. (2021), find additional contribution eigenfrequency correction at leading perturbative $\alpha^2$. Unlike al., also corrections frequencies polar sector. We compute these extra by evaluating expectation values potential on unperturbed QNM wavefunctions along contour deformed into complex-$r$ plane. For $\alpha=0.1 M^2$, ratio imaginary parts GR frequency (in sector) be $0.263$ implying significant change. $(2,2)-$mode, make part fundamental less negative, thereby decreasing decay rate. Our results, with future observations, can used test further constrain parameters. [abridged]

How do black holes spin in Chern-Simons modified gravity?
No Kerr-like exact solution has yet been found in Chern-Simons modified gravity. Intrigued by this absence, we study stationary and axisymmetric metrics that could represent the exterior field of spinning black holes. For the standard choice of the background scalar, the modified field equations decouple into the Einstein equations and additional constraints. These constraints eliminate essenti...
متن کاملQuasinormal modes of maximally charged black holes.
A new algorithm for computing the accurate values of quasinormal frequencies of extremal Reissner-Nordström black holes is presented. The numerically computed values are consistent with the values earlier obtained by Leaver and those obtained through the WKB method. Our results are more precise than other results known to date. We also find a curious fact that the resonant frequencies of gravit...
متن کاملQuasinormal modes of stringy black holes
String theory is a promising candidate for a fundamental quantum theory of all interactions including Einstein gravity. Some solutions in string theory can be interpreted as black holes. Using the semi-analytic method and WKB method, the quasinormal modes(QNMs)of 1+1 dimensional black hole in string theory are studied. The QNMs of 1+3 dimensional black hole in string theory are also calculated th...
متن کاملThree-dimensional Chern-Simons black holes
We construct black hole solutions to three-dimensional Einstein-Maxwell theory with both gravitational and electromagnetic Chern-Simons terms. These intrinsically rotating solutions are geodesically complete, and causally regular within a certain parameter range. Their mass, angular momentum and entropy are found to satisfy the first law of black hole thermodynamics. These Chern-Simons black ho...
متن کاملEinstein-Maxwell-Chern-Simons Black Holes
5-dimensional Einstein-Maxwell-Chern-Simons theory with Chern-Simons coefficient λ = 1 has supersymmetric black holes with vanishing horizon angular velocity, but finite angular momentum. Here supersymmetry is associated with a borderline between stability and instability, since for λ > 1 a rotational instability arises, where counterrotating black holes appear, whose horizon rotates in the opp...
