Combining ability analysis provides useful information for the selection of parents, in breeding program cucumber at Can tho, VietNam, as well related to nature and extent gene activities involved. Cucumberimprovement involves strategies enhance yieldpotential quality cucumber. Targeting improvement new varieties plants, combining abilities genetic parameters 12 traits estimated from full diallel technique 8×8. The results showed that differences due general (GCA) specific (SCA) capabilities are significant most these important traits.It indicates importance both plus- non-plus activity. GCA variances more intense than SCA all hybrid materials studied showing advantages linear effects their genetics. P1 (PhungTuong) appears best combination early flowers; P3 (MaLai) has a high primary branch number; P3(MaLai);P4 (TL 00L);P5(TayNinh) P6( BinhPhu) P7(TQ) have use improve number fruits per plant.
