Analysis of Tripleband Single Layer Proximity Fed 2x2 Microstrip Patch Array Antenna

Microstrip patch antennas that are multiband and downsized required to suit the high demand of modern wireless applications. To meet this need, a one-of-a-kind triple band array antenna has been proposed. The proposed 2x2 microstrip array, which comprises four hexagon-shaped radiating patches electromagnetically excited by centrally positioned feed line in same plane along with slotted ground plane, is investigated. CST Microwave Studio, powerful 3D electromagnetic analysis programme, was used design optimize antennas. constructed on FR-4 substrate dielectric constant 4.3, loss tangent 0.001, height 1.6mm. energy coupling from patches, an H-shaped groove cut into it. suggested antenna's multi- frequency behaviour shown. Three resonant peaks were detected at 1.891GHz, 2.755GHz, 3.052GHz. observed bandwidths for these resonances 234MHz, 69MHz, 75MHz, respectively, measured gains 7.57dBi, 6.73dBi, 5.76dBi. goal work design, build, test single layer proximity fed antenna. Standard contain two layers; however only one. As consequence, impedance matching alignment better. Simulated experimental results showed operates various important commercial bands, such as L S bands might be beneficial wide range good Impedance, S11, radiation qualities frequencies. In work, successfully created utilizing concept gap coupled parasitic patches.
