A power conversion system needs high efficiency for modern-day applications. DC–DC isolated bidirectional dual active bridge-based converter promises and reliability. There are several topologies available in the market claiming to be best of their type, so it is essential choose from them based on possible result operation a variety As result, this article examines characteristics, functionality, benefits other members family, as well limits future advances. high-frequency transformer also an important device that popular due leakage inductance bridge (DAB) converters. Therefore, detailed review presented, after critical analysis, minimized toroidal obtained using ANSYS Maxwell platform. Furthermore, work includes comprehensive examination control approaches DAB converters, which selecting most appropriate technique certain application. The outcome integrated with DAB-based boost inverter MATLAB/Simulink environment, results validated help experimental prototype.
