چکیده
Deep-sea pressure vessels are specialized designed for automatic deployment from underwater to the surface. These find extensive applications in life-saving and transportation. Their interiors furnished with a pair of sealing rings, one which is lip-shaped, other convex shape, ensure dependable seal. With increasing water depth, rings experience augmented pressure, resulting gradual pressing into groove. Using ANSYS workbench finite element software, two-dimensional axisymmetric lip seal model using forces overall constraint was established, complete process progressive groove simulated, deformation, contact stress, maximum shear von Mises stress distribution also simulated. We conducted comparative analysis seals under low high-water conditions. The findings study indicate that when subjected combined effect installation pre-tightening force working experiences compression at specific depth. When simultaneous influence on ring material friction surface, two extremes manifest primary zone have capacity elevate effective width, ultimately leading an improvement performance. Concurrently, as gradually increases, inner concave circle stretching, reduction concentration, equivalent considerable extent. This mechanism ensures lip-shaped retains sufficient strength. offers viable solution conducting studies deep-sea separable vessels.

15 صفحه اولSealing Performances Research on PTFE Rotating Seal under Deep-Sea Environment
In order to improve the environmental adaptability and sealing performance of the rotating seal, the principles and failure mechanisms of the rotating seal in ambient pressure in deep-sea is researched. It is proposed that the excessive friction caused by the ambient pressure and the magnitude of interference is the main reason for rotating seal failure. To reduce friction effect, a combined li...
متن کاملTemperature gradients in large pressure vessels cold-seal
Radial and longitudinal temperature gradients within cold-seal pressure vessels can contribute significantly to the total temperature unccrtainty in any one experiment and it is important to calibrate such gradients before experiments are undertaken. We have measured temperature gradients in vertically mounted large cold-seal vessels at 1 atm and 1 kbar and in the temperature range 500-800~ Rad...
