ANALYSIS OF RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN INNOVATIVE AND DIGITAL PERFORMANCE OF EU-27 COUNTRIES

Background: The global digital economy is developing quickly, and innovation plays a crucial role in today's economic growth. Aims: main aim was to investigate the interrelationships between performance of EU countries using selected indices (DESI, GII, SII). fulfilled by 2 partial goals subsequently set hypotheses. Methods: To verify hypotheses, we used Kendall Tau coefficient (τ), panel data regression analysis through this analysis, created 3 models. Sample: We have chosen EU-27 for our analyses. length analyzed period 5 years (2016-2020). Results: select resulting model from proposed models (Model 1 (OLS), Model (FEM), (REM)), test criteria such as F-test, Breusch-Pagan test, Hausman were used. consider be most suitable model, which result Fixed Effects (FEM). Conclusions: results analyses confirmed that higher statistically significant positive relationship identified their evaluated SII versus GII.
