Analysis of Incremental Sheet Forming of Aluminum Alloy

Recent developments in incremental sheet forming have resulted the creation of novel manufacturing processes that are highly adaptable and could bring significant economic benefits for advanced technologies low-volume production. In this manuscript, following variables were examined: variation deformation forces a part with pyramidal trunk shape; deformations thinning Al 3003 material during process; accuracy incrementally formed quality surfaces (surface roughness). The components increasing values from beginning process to maximum value due hardening process. TiN-coated tool ensures lower components. Due kinematics process, deviations, especially shape, drawing observed, which shown by radius curvature side wall part, appearance connection between bottom as well dimensional deviations expressed depth. Concerning smoothness surfaces, it was observed best roughness results obtained case tool.
